Renewal applications are only for licenses that are not expired.
If your license has already expired, and you are within 30 days after expiration, it is possible to file a waiver (at an additional fee) and still renew the license.
If your license has already expired, and over 30 days have passed since the expiration, please download a new application and identify that you want the license reinstated (including the former call sign). The cost is the same as the cost of a new application because we have to re-create the former license and pay all the necessary fees. It is very likely you will be able to keep the original frequencies, but not guaranteed.
